Motorola Milestone for Nokia N97

Because my Nokia N97 prematurely almost unusable, I had to buy a new phone necessarily.
I wanted in a few months before buying the HTC Desire Z (see also here), but since this is currently still too expensive (around 500 €), I chose the Motorola Milestone (240 €) in the first version (the second version is still around the 460 €).

I have a new phone now zwer only been a day when I have it but heavily used, I can already list the advantages and disadvantages to each other.
A direct comparison is also useful, as both phones are about the same price range (used 200-240 €).

The advantages of the Motorola Milestone:
- The operating system is more modern, there are more and better apps than Nokia.
- The MS has a faster CPU and more RAM.
- Processing is high, the feel better.
- The connection to the Internet and the automatic updating of data (email, Twitter, weather ,...) works better than the N97.

The benefits of the Nokia N97:
- Rich 32 GB internal memory, the MS has only a meager 300 MB!
- The hardware keyboard of the N97, too, is tricky, but a bit easier to use than the MS.
- The "key lock" goes out with a better hand.
- is supported Napster / DRM, not from MS.
- The N97 can be used as a modem, the MS only through additional, expensive software.

So far the first time ...
It may look as if two mobile phone have the same number of pros and cons, but some disadvantages of the MS can handle more or less.
On most annoying is that the MS is not compatible with Napster! With a little work and a fee-based software can also work around the ...
currently running the MS still using Android 2.1, but this month is yet to be released Android 2.2 for MS - I expect further improvements.
that remains is the small memory which you have to just live (which, incidentally Desire Z 8 GB and the Milestone 2 16 GB internal memory).

Otherwise I am very satisfied with the MS, even when the user interface designed not as beautiful and functional As with the models of HTC. Nevertheless, unlike the Nokia N97 is already a huge leap!
