Skinny Dip Frozen Yogurt

recipe" Meat Pie "

before yesterday I cooked for my girlfriend something exotic: the Australian national dish "Meat Pie"!
Normally this is done with ground beef, but in Aldi had only gemisctes Hack and also makes it all usually in small forms (about 10-15cm) ... Something I did not, so I have the whole thing in a slightly smaller baking dish made (about 30cm long). Like, all original Australian is not it yet, but finally tasted hats;)

the ingredients for 3-4 persons: 500g mixed
Hack
2 packages puff pastry (approx. 450g)

2 onions 4 tablespoons Worcester sauce (you can get eg EDEKA)
4 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons cornflour

butter
about a handful of bacon / ham cubes in an egg

salt and pepper

Cost: about 5 to 6 €

Procedure: Chop the onions
pretty small and with a little butter in a pan and fry until soft. Then add the minced meat and fry well.
stir the sauce with water, cornflour and salt and pepper in a small bowl and add the fried. The whole let boil.
Then give the whole thing in a bowl and let cool slightly - mix it all well again!
In the period you can then add Speck-/Schinkenwürfel fry the mixture.

first with butter and then a layer of puff pastry in the Dish, so that the whole floor is covered with the side walls. The excess batter settle.
with me was after the baking the ground is still somewhat raw and therefore I recommend vorzubacken the mold with the dough about 5 minutes at 190 degrees!
then simply fill in the minced meat mixture into the mold, all evenly distributed and pressed the whole remains solid. Then the whole form with a layer of puff pastry covered and removed the protruding dough. Press top of the dough lightly on the ground meat mixture and the dough with the pastry verbinden.Das whole should look like a cake!
The dough residues can roll into sausages, which are then hangs up on top - to decorate and that more is on it;) is
Finally, beaten egg and spread on the Meat Pie.

The whole is then for 20-25 minutes at 190 degrees convection in the oven.

Total cost: less than an hour! Served

, the whole thing with a tomato sauce (which I had not) - Ketchup would probably need to go (I had not).

Conclusion:
my girlfriend and me, it tasted really good! Is something different, very interesting flavor, prepared quickly and fairly simple and the costs keep in limits!
I will make with the security and again the next time I try it with pure ground beef ^ ^ And maybe I'll get even small forms. You can also experiment also so something ... Maybe make the whole sharp?
